Delete your Continuum account

Continuum is provided by Continuumco Ltd (company number 15602004). This page explains how to delete your Continuum account, whether you are a practitioner or a client, and whether you use the Android app, the iOS app or the website. It is the same account on all of them.

Delete your account yourself

You can delete your account at any time, and it takes effect straight away:

  1. Sign in to the Continuum app, or to Continuum at www.continuum.ac.
  2. Open your account menu by selecting your profile picture or initials, then choose Manage account.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete my account.

You are then signed out. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Ask us to delete it for you

If you cannot sign in, or no longer have the app, email contact@continuum.ac from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Continuum account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We will delete it within one month of your request, and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in and your profile
  • For clients: your journal entries, messages, form responses, consent records and notifications
  • For practitioners: your practice profile and the client records, sessions, notes, transcripts and reports in your account
  • For practitioners with a paid plan: your subscription is cancelled, so you are not charged again
  • For practitioners who connected Google Calendar: Continuum's access is revoked and the calendar data we hold is deleted

What we keep

  • A record that the account was deleted, with its email address, account type and the date, which we keep as evidence that we acted on your request
  • Records we are required by law to keep, such as invoices for paid subscriptions
  • Events Continuum already added to a practitioner's own Google Calendar, which stay there until the practitioner deletes them

Our Privacy Policy sets out how long we keep data and your other rights over it.
